How much does a private flight cost?

Is a private flight worth it compared with a scheduled flight?
For couples on popular routes, scheduled flights can be the best value, and we fly those too. For families, groups, remote camps and special occasions, a private flight gives you time, privacy and flexibility.
How much luggage can we bring?
Auric Air’s published standard allowance is 20 kg per person, including hand luggage and cameras. Soft-sided bags only, please. On a private flight the allowance depends on the aircraft, your group size and the airstrip, so our team confirms it with your quote. Tell us about bulky equipment before you book.
Will we see wildlife from the air?
Very often, especially over the Serengeti and during the migration. Wildlife is wild, so sightings can’t be guaranteed, but the views are unforgettable.
Can we fly over the Great Migration?
Yes. Tell us your dates and we’ll plan your route to the airstrip closest to the herds, within national park and aviation rules.
Is it safe?
Auric Air holds IATA ISSA certification and BARS registration, and trains pilots on the region’s first full-motion Cessna Caravan simulator.
Can we add champagne, a cake or flowers?
Yes, on request. Add them when you request your quote. Additional charges apply.
What if the weather or our plans change?
Weather, airstrip conditions and safety requirements can affect departure times or routing, and our team will keep you updated if they do. If your own plans change, tell us as soon as you can: a new date or route depends on aircraft availability, and charges may apply. The change and cancellation terms are set out in your charter agreement, so read them before you confirm.
